Sam and I worked through many ideas through the course of creating her wedding day at the Wadsworth Homestead in Geneseo. Her central theme was always consistent with creating something natural with a vintage, yet unique feel. These botanical bouquets worked perfectly. Muted greenery combined with succulents, peonies, & wildflowers provided layers of lush texture against the softest blush of her bridesmaids’ dresses & the gorgeous grounds of this historic home.
Blush florals in pinks, peach, & champagnes with gold accents were pulled in for the table decor under the tent. Three design styles decorated the guest tables. Together they harmonized the look of the day with interest, elegance, & fun!

Jenna & Jim August 29, 2015
This spectacular wedding took place on a gorgeous Saturday in August at the Greystone Golf Club in Walworth. Jenna & Jim’s vision for a romantic “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” wedding unfolded perfectly from start to finish.
The color palette consisted of deep rich berry tones & blush. A textural mix of garden roses, spray roses, stock flower, coxcomb, hydrangea, silver dollar eucalyptus, & olive gave this bouquet a fun & romantic, garden-like feel.
The ceremony took place on Greystone’s beautiful grounds. We created a simple but lush backdrop using birch, greenery & coordinating florals.
The real drama happened under the tent! This awesome collaboration came together with clever ingenuity. Lisa Murley, from Limedrop Events, envisioned the idea of hanging wooden planks to give a look of whimsey, fantasy, and romance. She, with the help of McCarthy Tents & Events, incorporated the groom’s hand made wooden planks, which then became our canvas that we filled with draping, dramatic florals & hanging votives. Lush greenery, garden roses, & hanging amaranthus truly gave this space that romantic vision of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.
The table decor was just as striking. Jenna & Jim gilded over 100 different shaped & sized bottles. We added in vintage style clear glass & milk glass vases, filled with small hand tied bouquets & single blooms for an eclectic mix with dramatic pops of color.
